Read your myUCT email on your iOS device

Use Exchange Mail settings to set up email on your Apple device.

Exchange Mail (Preferred)

1. Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendar > Add Account.
2. On the Add Account screen, tap Microsoft Exchange.
3. Fill in the Exchange fields as follows and then tap Next:
   • Email: studentnumber@myuct.ac.za
   • Domain: leave blank.
   • Username: enter studentnumber@myuct.ac.za
   • Password: your network password.
4. Your iPhone/iPad will try to automatically set up your email account.
   • If the setup is successfully completed, proceed to step 6.
   • If your email account is not automatically configured then enter m.outlook.com in the Server field and tap Next.
5. In the Exchange window, choose the information you want to synchronise between your account and your device. By default, Mail, Contacts and Calendar information are synchronised.
6. Tap Save to complete the setup.
