UCT spends a significant amount of money each year purchasing internet bandwidth for use on campus.
Worryingly, not all of the bandwidth is used for academic or business use. In an effort to raise awareness about the cost of this non-business related usage, ICTS previously published UCT bandwidth usage graphs on a month by month basis.
