The UCT eResearch Centre provides researchers with better and faster technology to manage, process and store their research data. This is being done through high performance computing, visualisation and collaboration with local, national and international research partners.
The eResearch Centre is a partnership between the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Research & Internationalisation, Information and Communication Technology Services (ICTS), UCT Libraries and The Research Office.
High Performance Computing
This service provides a reliable, scalable and economic computing facility to UCT’s researchers.
UCT has acquired additional storage to assist departments and research groups in storing their large datasets in centralised storage facilities.
Research Data Management
Manage data so that it is accessible for future use.
Tools and support
The UCT eResearch and Research Systems team can assist with you the entire lifecycle of your research.
