As part of the ongoing UCT Network Renewal Project, ICTS will be performing important data centre maintenance on Sunday 3rd April from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. As a result, many UCT services will experience intermittent and brief downtime during this period.
How does this affect me?
UCT email, Teams, and other Microsoft services will not be impacted.
However, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on the day, all other UCT services will experience intermittent and brief downtime. These include Vula, PeopleSoft, the VPN service, and all UCT websites.
Eduroam connectivity may be intermittent, but wired connections on campus will not be affected.
If you need to use any of the affected UCT services, please schedule your work for either before or after the maintenance period.
