After working in the Environment & Built Environment (EBE) faculty since 2003, Theo Armstrong, has had plenty of time to get to know the faculty staff and their requirements when using the lab. This comes in handy when managing seven labs in four different buildings.
When he is not taking bookings or managing the administration of the various labs, he tries to visit each of the labs at least once a day to see how he can assist students. He also has assistant lab administrators who are there to help students managing their passwords or accessing the Internet.
While this may seem like a daunting task to some, Theo is happy managing such a large number of labs and says it is thanks to the support provided by the faculty as well as his colleagues in ICTS that makes the job easier.
