Password

Staff, students and third parties use passwords to keep their UCT network accounts secure. This also helps to keep critical UCT data safe – such as information on network drives and online platforms like Vula. For most people, the password is permanent (i.e. never expires) – although it is safer to change it at regular intervals. You can also use the password recovery mechanism if you ever forget your password.
