| Manage your account by changing your temporary password. | |
| Several services you will use are secured by Multi-factor authentication (MFA). Once you have changed your password, you will need to set up set up your MFA. | |
| Download and install Microsoft Office for free on up to 5 devices (it will already be installed on your UCT computer). This includes the Microsoft Teams collaboration and communication tool and OneDrive for Business online storage solution. | |
| Download UCT Mobile, the university's all-in-one-mobile app for your phone. |
| Connect to eduroam (the wireless network) either automatically (with the CAT tool) or manually. | |
| Connect your device(s) to the internet. | |
| Access your email. | |
| Set up your telephone and voicemail password. | |
| Set up your phone extension to forward to your mobile device. | |
| Set up email on your mobile devices. | |
| Sign into Vula, your online learning portal. | |
| Browse and install any free or site-licensed software you might need from our downloads site. | |
| Access LinkedIn Learning for thousands of tutorials from subject matter experts | |
| Access Google Workspace offering you all the Google apps and cloud storage | |
| Familiarise yourself with the ICTS Service Level Agreement to see what services are available to you. | |
| If you have ICT problems or need advice, visit the Front Office or log calls online. | |
