Innovation 2018: UCT Techfest to feature futuristic gadgets this year!
On 17 and 18 April 2018, UCT's preferred IT vendors, as well as Cell C, SMD Technologies, and Microsoft, will be showing off the latest tech at the UCT Technology Festival (Techfest).

The event will be hosted in Memorial Hall on upper campus from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., so make sure you pop in and check out the coolest gadgets available, grab some free popcorn and play with some awesome technology!
This year we are joined by UCT's School of IT, who will bring along some amazing technology for you to view and play with. Their offerings include drones, VR headsets, an emotive headset, and a 3D printer. This will be in addition to the fantastic tech offered by our vendors.

There is also an exciting line up of info sessions on various topics from software to productivity, Office 365 and Microsoft Azure running in the venue, using silent disco technology. Seating is limited, so we recommend booking ahead of time. To book, pleas email icts-training@uct.ac.za
