Special Access to MATLAB and Simulink at the University of Cape Town

Do you rely on MATLAB to support your course work and research? If so, we are pleased to inform you that MATLAB and Simulink will be available to download through a special temporary licence. This will expire at the end of June 2020.

All staff, researchers, and students are eligible to download and install these products on their personally-owned computers or on university-issued computers.  In addition, you will have browser access using MATLAB Online and MATLAB Drive. 

 

To access it:

1.      Go to the UCT MATLAB Portal

2.      Sign in with your account or create an account, using your UCT email address.

3.      View the list of available products, then download and install the software that you need.

Already using MathWorks products?

If you already have the Mathworks products installed, you do not need to reinstall them. This limited-term license does not alter or upgrade current installations of the products.
