Apple has released macOS Big Sur 11.0, the latest version of its operating system (OS) for Mac computers. macOS Big Sur brings a refined new design, powerful controls, and intuitive customisation options to the Mac.

Among other key features and enhancements, the new OS includes tweaks to the curves of the window corners, dock icons and colours of the user interface. The control centre (in the menu bar), widgets and notification centre are also look more sophisticated.

Technical requirements for macOS Big Sur 11.0

Big Sur can only be installed on certain Mac models, so you’ll need to check whether your machine meets these requirements. For more information, view the technical specifications. For more information on how to upgrade, visit the Apple website.
