At the end of September 2022, ICTS will implement an update to the UCT Third Party System, resulting in this system being unavailable on the weekend of 30th September to 2nd October.
Third parties are individuals who are neither staff nor student, yet need to use UCT resources while they are undertaking official business on campus. Permanent staff members use the Third Party System to grant these individuals such access, extend access, and disable access.
Why the change?
The update is necessary to enhance system security and will also improve functionality.
The login process will remain the same, however, there will be minor visual changes to the interface, which have been informed by user feedback we received.
The visual changes will be highlighted in the online help available in the system.
How does it affect me?
This system will be offline from Friday 30th September 2022 (4:00 p.m.), for the duration of that weekend. It will be available again on the morning of Monday 3rd October.
In this time, all current third party accounts will continue to function as normal, however, Third Party administrators will not be able to access the system.
Therefore, if you need to create new third party accounts or manage existing ones, please do so before 4:00 p.m. on Friday 30th September.
