Scheduled maintenance this Sunday

This is a reminder about the ICTS monthly maintenance slot scheduled for Sunday, 26th July 2026.

Affected services

All ICT services, excluding Amathuba, ServiceNow, UCT email and Microsoft 365 services, will be unavailable for the duration of the maintenance slot from 09:00 to 17:00.

Important action required on or after 27th July

As part of our ongoing efforts to maintain a secure and trusted network environment, ICTS will also update authentication certificates for our connectivity services. As a result, you will need to take action on 27th July 2026 (or the next time you're on campus thereafter). Please follow these instructions: https://icts.uct.ac.za/certificate-update.

Plan your conferences and teaching around the schedule

Please remember to consult the Scheduled ICTS Maintenance slots before planning any teaching, conferences, meetings, etc. that require ICT services.
