On Monday 23rd May 2022, ICTS will be upgrading the software on Polycom phones on campus. As a result, Polycom phones will be offline for a short period.

What do I need to do?

  1. If you use a Polycom phone on campus, please ensure that it is connected to the UCT network as of 6:00 p.m. on Monday 23rd May.
  2. If you need to make a call from your UCT extension between 6:00 and 6:30 p.m. on the day, please use the Skype for Business mobile app, as your Polycom phone will be occupied with the upgrade.
