Wireless

Wireless networking, or WiFi, uses radio waves to connect network devices (phones, laptops, etc.) to wireless access points. eduroam is the secure wireless service available across all UCT campuses and at other eduroam-affiliated institutions worldwide. You can set up your eduroam connection either automatically (using a configuration tool) or manually.

Visitors that do not come from eduroam participating institutions, can get WiFi access through the UCT Guest WiFi service.
