UCT Managed Print Services (MPS) covers printing, copying, scanning, bulk printing, secure printing, print servicing and support. Bytes Document Solutions (Xerox) is the printing vendor for UCT.
Managed Print Services (MPS), offers staff and students numerous Xerox devices across all campuses. You no longer need to outsource your printing to external vendors, as the various document centres cover all your printing needs – including bulk printing, poster printing, and more.
MPS offers a convenient remote job submission and delivery service: you can submit your print job online and it will be printed and delivered to your door.
For departments using the service, the print tariff includes consumables and paper, which are regularly replenished by our team on campus. Being part of the MPS print service means you can print anywhere on campus on an MPS printer and have the cost automatically billing back to your cost centre. No monthly rental is required.
What you need to know
To use the printers on campus, you need to have the Papercut software installed.
Students can either load print credits online or at a payment portal box.
